You are not clearing blocks. You are laying a tile panel. Drop pieces onto an 8×8 wall until four tiles of one tradition meet — and the four of them fuse into a single ornament.

Any 2×2 square of a single style blooms: the four tiles fuse into one large ornament, score, and clear the wall.

Three pieces wait below the wall. Drag one up and the wall shows you where it can sit. No rotation, no falling — it is a wall, not a well.

Ornaments fill the kiln. Fill it and a new tradition joins your palette — which makes matches rarer. The reward is the difficulty.

The ceramic traditions

The ornaments are original compositions drawn in the spirit of each tradition — its geometry, its glaze chemistry — not reproductions of any particular historical panel. Each one arrives with a plain sentence about where it comes from.

Which traditions are in the palette is printed nowhere. Each one arrives at the moment you fire the kiln for it: four of its tiles draw apart over the flame, close into the whole ornament, and the name rises underneath. You learn the palette by laying it.

Four tiles of one style in a square fuse into a medallion. Motifs run straight across the grout, so a bloom is the whole ornament assembling itself out of the pieces you laid.

A 3×3 of one tradition fires four overlapping blooms at once, plus a bonus. Since any 2×2 clears the moment it forms, the only way to build one is to leave the middle open and plug it last.

A full row or column clears as a decorative border band, scored on how harmonious it is — a band of one style is worth about four times a jumbled one.

The workshop always holds one open order — three İznik blooms, two friezes, a masterpiece — with a deadline counted in moves, not seconds. It pays into the score and the kiln both.

Traditions you discover are kept across runs. A single run never finds them all, so the deep end of the palette is a long chase rather than a session's goal.
